Are Free Antivirus Software Programs Any Good?
The short answer is yes, free antivirus software is only as good as the ones you pay for the removal of virus threats. I know many of us have the hard way that you get what you pay for learning, but that's not the case, free antivirus software. The truth is, many antivirus companies give out their personal or home version of their product for free. They do this so people use it, impressed with him and then they recommend the company they workfor. These antivirus companies make their money from the commercial versions of their products.
Most companies that offer a free anti-virus product are just as quick to detect new viruses as pay-for-business. These companies make their money by a good commercial version, so would their reputation on the line if they do not come with updates as fast as the other guys. Their business model is to have recommendations arising from the free versions, so it isupdated in their own interests and always keep working well. They are as fast or faster in some cases to more new virus definition files are created.
Another advantage of the free versions is that most of them auto-update. Preserving these products, how well they work, and the companies that they need word of mouth for sales push assessed. It would not be good if the people the products they install and then upgrade to the people to the software itself to be made law. TheUpdates are the most important part of an antivirus program. As soon as new viruses are new updates for your AV program coming to get you safe from them. If you do not update your AV program, you can rely to be open infected by a new virus that comes here.
I recommend you AVG, Avast or Avira. All of these products in a free home version for your personal use to come, and all of them in just as high as the pay-for versions of the big two (Norton andMcAfee).
