I Purchased Kaspersky Internet Security And I Can’t Get It To Download. I Can’t Get The Cd Drive To Work.

It starts and then shuts down immediately and I can’t use it. The computer will play a music cd but it won’t read the cd rom. Any suggestions.

Sincerely wish that I had a technical answer to your problem. If your CD drive reads the music data then I see no reason why the data on Kaspersky is not being read, unless the disk is “blank”.
If you have a neighbor with a PC, perhaps they will allow you to insert the CD into their CD drive to see if there is actually readable data on the Cd.
Or you may have to take the CD back to where you purchased with your receipt and tell the store that the CD shows no data. Ask them to put the CD into their PC and see what happens.
