Which Antivirus Is Best For A Home Pc Running Vista? Is Bitdefender Better Than Kaspersky?
Sorry, i can’t speak english….. 
my recommendations:
1. Kaspersky internet security 2010
=> kaspersky have powerful heuristic and kaspersky have actual database with complete protection. but, kaspersky is sensitive and difficult to use.
2. AVG 8.5 internet security
=> AVG is light and fast. but, avg doesn’t have good heuristic.
3. Avira antivir 9
=> Avira is good too. but, last week, sality on my computer destroyed
Avira “Antivirus guard”. luckily, AVG resident shield detected all sality.
4. Bitdefender total security 2009
=> slowdown my computer… but, bitdefender more lighter than norton (^_^)
5. Eset smart security 4
=> more lighter than KIS 2010 (kaspersky internet security)….

Kaspersky’s better than BitDefender and it’s best for your PC running Windows Vista. Although I didn’t experience BitDefender, I can say that Kaspersky’s a good antivirus. I’ll give you this site (hope it helps) to better understand why Kaspersky’s the best:
kaspersky is too sensitive and quite complicated
but it have one of the highest virus detection rate
if yo want some light free antivirus,try avira
and don’t use more than one av at a time
if you want to keep avira and avg and avast and kaspersky and eset and every single antivirus in this world,
just enable only one real time protection to avoid conflict
and also alway update you antivirus
Rudra antivirus is best.
yes absolutely bitdefender is better than kaspersky
bitdefender is better than kaspersky 2010,nod32 better than both.

i think quickheal or avast is best.
