I have 3 pc license of Kaspersky Internet Security 2009. for updating antivirus database i have to go online which is running smoothly on my laptop. The problem is i dont want to online my desktop computer … is there any way to update Antivirus database offline like other antivirus software which gives u an executable file and all you have to do is to execute the file and database will be updated. Any help is appreciated.

The only cons I know of are of course since it is new it has some issues for some people, the virus scan detail page doesn’t scroll as it scans (known issue, this will be fixed), and some people get panicked by the new vulnerability detection*.
The pros would be: new HIPS system**, better application control(with customizable levels of access, and it scans applications to determine threat level, then places them in a zone), extensive white-listing of trusted applications so that Kaspersky automatically lets them run without prompts, and of course improved scanner.

I have recently installed Kaspersky Internet Security 2009 onto my laptop which is running Windows Vista Home Premium and it is very slow to load. Not much else is run on startup but Kaspersky is the last thing to load and take at least 2 mins to load, why is this? and can something be done to make it start up quicker? thanks
