hello people i wanted to know what effect does an antivirus have on the surfing speed or the download speed?? i am thinking of installing one but have experienced slow speeds compared to surfing without an antivirus…if it slows down to some extent….why does it? thank you

I have disabled Windows Firewall, uninstalled all other Anti Virus Software and software packages as recommended. Still does not work. (Kaspersky 2009 Anti Virus)

i m using Kaspersky internet security 2009. i had deactivated the antivirus for a minute after that when i activated the anti virus the antivirus stopped working i have tried reinstalling the software the installation is completed successfully and there are no viruses in the system. when i try to open the software it is not starting. please help we out with this now m having the antivirus installed and it is a registered version .

I uninstalled AVG in order to install Kaspersky but the setup is asking again to delete AVG 8

I just successfully unistalled McAfee Internet Security Suite so I can install Kaspersky AntiVirus 2009 but when I try to install it, it says that it is running McAfee Security Suite an incompatible program “remove to continue installation” but on the programs list McAfee isn’t listed and besides I already sucessfully uninstalled it. How do I continue the installation of Kaspersky AntiVirus 2009?!
