I purchased KIS and thinking to install “PC Tools Firewall Plus Free Edition 4″ from http://www.download.com/PC-Tools-Firewall-Plus-Free-Edition/3000-10435_4-10625321.html?tag=mncol&cdlPid=10879313 , is it recommended to do so?
Some say having more than one security software will decrease the overall security of my computer.

Im deciding to buy one of this things but i want it to have one these characteristics
1. Fast antivirus scan
2.Strong Firewall
3.Low on resources like doesn’t make the computer make a lot of noice etc.
Im thinking of nod and kaspersky any recommendations and why.

How do I remove “detected threats” from my computer with KIS I cant seem to “disenfect all” it wont let me it says they are highly and very dangerous how can I get them off?

I am about to install Kaspersky. Has anybody tried to install it with Windows live OneCare still in their computer? Will it just complicate things later? Should I just delete the OneCare, or try leaving it just disabling it during installation? I am using windows vista. Sources greatly appreciated.

i bought the 2010 version of kaspersky, so if i renew my desktop, but not my laptop, will the subscription days run down starting from the day i upsated my desktop? like should i wait to do them both at one time? thanx!
